Everybody knows that US federal debt has reached 34 T$.
Everybody "knows" that the majority of that debt is owned by China.
Well - there is a difference between knows and "knows'. :-)
See the figure in link. The short version is that the 34 T$ are divided as: 14 T$ owed to various US govermental entities, 12 T$ owed to US companies and people, 1 T$ owed to China and 7 T$ owed to other foreign countries.
