New survey document what everybody knew: gen Z has problems with many companies work culture.
First the definition: gen Z is usually defined as those born 1997-2012, which is the generation coming out of colleges/universities and getting their first jobs.
I don't think it is just the usual BS. "Our youth now love luxury, they have bad manners, contempt for authority; they show disrespect for elders, and they love to chatter instead of exercise" Socrates more than 2400 years ago. But "surveyed 966 business leaders involved in hiring decisions" indicate some reality.
Also don't believe in the "companies will just need to accomodate gen Z" strategy. This is a western gen Z problem. This is not a world wide gen Z problem. Companies may adjust minor things to accomodate, but for the big things then either western gen Z will need to accomodate companies or the companies will hire non-western.
