As I understand it then:

• ZLUDA was an open source library for providing Nvidia CUDA compatibility for AMD GPU's
• AMD got involved in the project
• AMD pulled out and requested their code got removed due to legal concerns
• original team has removed all the code, but plan on relaunching the code without any AMD code

Ouch.
