FaceBook is a private company and can obviously listen to whoever they want to. Be it the white house or Mark Zukerbergs neighbors aunt.
But it still gives a bad impression. It is unrealistic for Facebook not to moderate (there is just too much that must be removed). But credibility wise moderation should be based on Facebook principles and not on what people with power can pressuire Facebook to.
