Given what we have heard about DOGE access to various departments computers and the background of the DOGE people, then it seems obvious that the DOGE plan is to grab all data and use AI (Grok 3??) to analyze it and come up with ways to cut waste and fraud.
It is obvious to me that the new technology provide some new opportunities to audit government spending.
But I don't believe in silver bullets. AI alone is not sufficient to provide good results. AI is a good tool for people with solid domain expertise.
Unless DOGE mix AI usage with human domain expertise, then the results will not be good.
