The analysis say that Brodcom increased revenue for VMWar eproducts by 1 B$ per quarter.
That may very well be true. But I am not impressed. First it is not much compared to what Broadcom paid for VMWare. Second it is a declinijng market - the market is switchiong from VM's to containers (and VMWare marketshare is much less in containers than in VM' *and* more companies unhappy with the price hike will leave (it takes time to migrate and it takes time for contracts to run out).
