How to get VMS:

Business:

Buy VMS from VSI and hardware from IslandCo (or HPE if you can find a HPE VMS person) or for VMS x86-64 create a VM running one of the tested virtualization platforms (VMWare ESXi, VMWare Player, VMWare Fusion, QEMU/KVM on Linux, VirtualBox).

Hobbyist:

Get a "new style" community license from VSI and create a VM running one of the tested virtualization platforms (VMWare ESXi, VMWare Player, VMWare Fusion, QEMU/KVM on Linux, VirtualBox).

There is also a VMS Software Ambassador Program.

HPE hobbyist program is terminated.

Original VSI community license program is being phased out.

VSI student license program is terminated.
