The war in Ukraine has shown that Russia and North Korea got weapons right and the West got weapons wrong.
What is needed is simple weapons that does not break down in the field and are cheap to produce in huge quantities. Super advanced complex weapons that does break down in the field and are so expensicve that they are produced in small quantities only is not what is needed.
Ten 155 mm shells per world war I specs are better than one 155 mm shell extra long range guided with builtin MP3 player. :-)
