Wednesday the US Court of International Trade ruled the tariffs illegal (because they did not think the International Emergency Economic Powers Act gave the president authority for such broad tariffs).
Thursday a federal appeals court suspended the ruling while the case was being heard (meaning that the tariffs can stay in place while the case is being tried).
I am sure this is not the end of it.
