I totally don't get that ranking. That ranking seems to assume that the democratic primary would be dominated by the progressives. That did not happen in 2020. I don't see it happen in 2028. The very progressive will vote progressive. The very moderate will vote moderate. But the smart will vote based on electability.
Kamala would mean a repeat of 2024. Gary Newsom would not do any better than Kamala. AOC would practically guarantee a republican landslide (she is very popular in many core democratic circles, but she has has no chance among swing voters).
And Gina Raimondo is not even on the list.
