Honestly I don't understand it.
Countries can and should deny entry of people where there is a high risk of them committing crimes (terror, drugs, vilence, financial, whatever).
But deny entry of people that in the past has said things that have offended people?? WTF??
Candace Owens has said a lot of offending things over the years. Her claim that the French presidents wife being a man is ridicolous.
But free speech does not just give people the right to say things that are nice and correct - it also gives them the right to say things that are nasty and incorrect.
So I think Australia should focus on whether visitors present a risk of committing crimes and not on what they have said in the past or may say in the future.
