It is no surprise that developers prefer to get an anser from their AI assistant in 1 second instead of going to SO, write the question and waut a few hours for an answer.
But absurd because the AI assistant probably did a lot of the relevant learning on SO material.
And it is also a problem for AI, because if noone use SO, then there will not be much new material to train AI on.
Worst case scenario then in 5-10 years the AI assistants will still be recommending tyhe 201X solutions, because those years dominate the training material.
