ChatGPT has lost a lot of marketshare and GitHub Copilot has lost some market share. Cursor and Claude have gained market share. Interesting.
TS/JS, Python and Java are still the most mentioned programming language. No surprise - all surveys show that.
The two most widely used IDE's are VS Code and the family of JetBrains IDE's (IntelliJ - Java, PyCharm - Python, Rider - .NET, WebStorm - TS/JS, PHPStorm - PHP, GoLand - Go, RubyMine - Ruby). Number 3 is Claude, number 4 is VS and and number 5 is XCode. Not surprising either.
Almost everyone use cloud based Git as VCS (GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket).
The 4 most used CI/CD tools are: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI and Azure DevOps. Not surprising.
For public cloud providers number 1 is AWS, number 2 is Azure and number 3 is GCP. That is the market.
