The choice of cache server involves more than just raw performance. I don't think Redis/ValKey and Memcache are worried.
(I wonder why they did not mention any of the J cache servers: Apache Ignite, JBoss Infinispan, Hazelcast etc.)
The interesting part is that someone wanted to write a new cache server in 2025 - and choosing to write it in C.
