Computer Science no longer safe career

I guess it is a tripple whammy:

the growth in IT has generally stalled - both internet companies, financial industry and government
AI coding assistants is reducing the demand for junior developers (the fact that it is not sustaining because there will not be enough senior engineers around in 20 years does not change that)
the quality of CS graduates has dropped significantly - the new ones may have grown up with internet and smartphones but know way less about how hardware and software works
