I think he has a good understanding of where Go has its niche. C, Rust and Zig covers the low level close to the hardware stuff. Java, C#, Python, C++, PHP etc. covers the business applications. But between the low level stuff and the business applications there is a need for something in between for supporting platforms - Go is perfect for that.
