After reading it and the original source at Canonical then it is not clear to me if Canonical supports Java 8 for 20 years, and Java 11/17/21 for 12 years or Java 8 for 20 years and Java 11/17/21 for 10 years or Java 8/11/17/21 until at least 2034.
But crystal clear that Canonical believes there is a profitable market for long term support for Java.
And they atre also targetting broad platform wise: x86-64, ARM, IBM mainframe, Power and RISC-V.
