This article has a valid point well hidden under a BS click-baiting headline.
Because when reading the entire article then it becomes clear that they are not dropping lambdas - they are dropping complex lambdas. Which is a different thing.
And I think a lot agree with the point of avoiding complex lambdas.
But even the best language features can be abused.
