It is no secret that some politicians in the US like tarifs.
Now one has proposed a 25% tarif on outsourcing payments.
That would hit India's IT industry hard.
No guarantee that the proposal will become law. It could fail due to politics or due to lobbyism from the US companies doing outsourcing or due to lack of support if India becomes a friend (read: don't buy as much russian oil).
