There is a lot of talk in Europe about using European cloud instead of US cloud due to uncertainty about US commitment.
But there is a practical problem - there is no big european cloud. With all due respect for Hetzner then I don't see them as the equal of Amazon, Microsoft, Google and Oracle.
But now SAP is going into the cloud business. They have the necessary financial muscle. Even though this investment is still only maybe 20% of what is needed.
